Today I’m going to tell you all about this evergreen classic combination that has been adored by most Indians for years and is an irreplaceable combination.
Biryani and Kebab, a combination of appetizer and main meal, creates an unforgettable dining experience. This unique mix is popular throughout India, despite the fact that Biryanis vary by area and there are numerous ways to create kebabs!
As the main entrée, aromatically flavored rice cooked with chicken broth and other spices is offered. As you go across India, you will see that this takes on numerous forms, such as ingredient additions, flavors, spice level, and so on.
Kebab, thoroughly marinated, and shallow/deep fried chicken appetizers vary according to type, name, spices, marination, frying methods, and area. Some examples include chicken lollipop kebab, chicken 65, chicken tandoori, chicken rojali, chicken Dilkush, chicken Peshawari, chicken punjabi, chicken haryali, chicken achari, and others.
Here are some of my favorite platters:
BONELESS CHICKEN BIRYANI WITH CHICKEN LOLLIPOP
A flavorful regular chicken Biryani with boneless chicken chunks to mix with deep fried crisp and crunchy chicken lollipop makes a wonderful supper dish. This is from Dollops in Manipal, which is one of the city’s oldest restaurants.
CHICKEN TIKKA BIRYANI WITH LOLLIPOP TANDOORI & MAGDHABI KEBAB
When roasted, smoked, marinated, and grilled chicken is added to biryani, it creates Chicken Tikka biryani. Rice, on the other hand, is kept to a minimum of flavors because the chicken tikka already has a smokey flavor.
The chicken lollipop tandoori is charcoal cooked chicken leg parts, and the Magdhabi kebab is a cheese-topped dry kebab variant.
CHICKEN HYDERABADI BIRYANI WITH CHICKEN TANDOORI
Spicy biryani originating primarily in the Hyderabad region of India. Combining it with big chicken chunks that have been marinated in spices and char roasted in charcoal provides a smokey punching flavor.
CHICKEN BIRYANI WITH LOCAL STYLE KEBAB
Lunch is complete with a basic green masala flavored biryani and some scorching hot local style kebabs! Affordably priced and fulfilling.
These are the various Biryani and kebab combinations that I enjoy for my meals. If you’ve tried any of these variations, please let me know which one is your favorite in the comments!
